Yes. Silver Lake is an 88-acre spring-fed lake with crystal-clear water and a sandy bottom. With only 24 private parcels and no public access, the water quality is exceptional year-round.
Is the pontoon boat included?
Every stay includes full use of the electric pontoon boat, Hobie Cat sailboat, and two rowboats. A brief orientation is provided upon arrival. Life jackets are supplied for all ages.
How far is it from Mackinaw City?
About 35 minutes. You're also 50 minutes from Petoskey, 30 minutes from Gaylord, 20 minutes from Pigeon River elk country, and 25 minutes from Cheboygan on Lake Huron.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior approval and a pet fee. The 12-acre property and 900 acres of surrounding common area provide ample space to roam.
Is Silver Lake a private lake?
Yes. The lake is surrounded by only 24 private parcels within a gated community. There is no public boat launch or public access. It was once a Wilderness Boy Scout Camp.
